A popular beat combo who sprang to obscurity in Southampton in the late 1980's, ACCRINGTON STANLEY have earned and kept a peculiar corner in the hearts of the downtrodden masses for their pioneering songs, a poignant inability to be fashionable, and a shameless embrace of that rare musical quality frowned upon by the mainstream Music Industry, known as 'disorder'.
Formed by Dan O'Farrell and Richard Barrett in 1986 while still at school, ACCRINGTON STANLEY became a staple of the Southampton music scene. They then became the TippEx of the UK University Circuit. Further aspirations to office stationary status were realised in 1992 when the band toured Japan, playing the 650,000,000 capacity Yoyogi National Car Park.

Please arrive promptly as we can't wait around or it'll get too dark!!
Please feel free to make banners, posters or wear what you like for the photos and stick around for some food and a few drinks.

Hey, is Dan there? Can you come and play, well, listen to us on 17th Aug at Wedgewood rooms? Hello, it's Matt by the way... You guys are too productive for family types - we can't even manage a weekly rehearsal!
Good evening! I'll be starting a tour in the UK next week, and wanted to let you know.
You may have heard my guitar playing and not even realized it was me. I played with Buddy Holly, and when you listen to "It's So Easy" or "Heartbeat"...well, that is me.
We will play some of the Buddy Holly songs that i played on so many years ago, and a few more! I might even sing a couple.
I hope you can make one of the dates?
Best,
Tommy Allsup
