About Volts - AC/DC Tribute

The following is a true story, only the names have been changed to protect the guilty! In the beginning, back in 1955, man didn’t know about a rock n roll show but five guys from Edinburgh are giving it a fair crack! It was always gonna be a long way to the top if they wanted to rock n roll, but with a sound that will kick you in the teeth and shake you all night long Volts will walk all over you! Formed in 2005 the band have gone from strength to strength and have now settled on the perfect line up to replicate the classic AC/DC sound – Craig (Angus), Willie (Bon/Brian), Dave (Cliff), Ross (Malcolm) and Iain (Phil) give no less than 100% every night in a two hour rock n roll extravaganza that will blow your head off! Volts have played the Bon Scott memorial event in Kirriemuir, The Big Ball in Wrexham, the Renfrew Ferry in Glasgow, The Albert Hall in Stirling and supported Saxon in The Picture House in Edinburgh… and many more venues nationwide. So if you got the money, We got the sound, You put it up and we'll put it down.  So come with us on our highway to hell… It ain’t a bad place to be!
