I’m just a regular dude from Idaho, who likes to have fun outdoors and make music. I’m up for almost anything... almost ;-)
My written Citizens Creed:
I am an American citizen
As such I am potentially soldier too
I live to serve the people of the united states
I will always remember the values that created this nation
And I will always place them first
I will never accept defeat
I will never quit
I will never abandon a fellow citizen
I am disciplined, physically and mentally, trained and proficient at what I do,
That I may be productive not only for my own sake,
but also for the proliferation of this great nation.
I will bear arms that I may be able to defend my family from those that wish to take advantage of the work of others, and corrupt the freedom of our nation.
I am, even as a citizen, a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
Hope you like my Electro Sound! I 've just finished my new single “I Lost My Teddy” (release date 27/Jun/08). It’s a phat electro house track with a hot pumping bass. So watch out for those tunes! You wont be disappointed!!

That's awesome! :) I miss Grace honestly. I think that we all had a lot of fun together. And fun on the weekends. It was fun to laugh and be stupid. I read your bulletin...Congrats on the engagement! That's tight. How are things going with your music and everything? Are you still following the Lord? Write back square
You made me a promise when you gave me that ring; and my acceptance of the ring reciprocated that promise back to you Jack. You have seen me at my worst, you have seen the best in me and best of all, you have seen me as I am. I could never ask for more from anyone and I'm grateful that its you I'm with.
Brian and Ricky cant climb tomorrow and Rosa has to work so bring that slack line over to my house, hope you get this because im not going to the Rec Center in the morning
Yes, all musicians definitely are that paranoid. When they first start to care about copyrighting their work they are, anyway. :o)
So, you have 2 reputable options that I can personally vouch for. (1) Load your songs on Sound Click. They automatically grant you a free "Creative Commons" license, which you may be familiar with. It states officially, on record, that you are the author of this song, and that no one can use it w/o giving you credit. That's the semi-official and free way.
The other way, is to (2) send a CD of your work to the library of congress. Just google "US library of congress" or "US copyright" or something, and you'll get the webpage. All the instructions and forms are there on that webpage. Basically, you send them 2 physical copies of your CD, some forms filled out, and $35 or so (don't quote me on the actual price). This covers a full-on copyright that, theoretically, should stand up in court. Of course, those with experience will tell you things like "it really comes down to 'my lawyer can beat up your layer'", which it very well might. (I've never been in that situation.) But you can't get more officially and formally on record than the government copyright.
Both of these I've done for my work. They're relatively simple and easy... you won't have to hire anybody else to handle it for you.
Does that help?
BTW, I sent you an email yesterday to your "ceo" email address. I figured, if you're interested to know about when my collabs and such are available, it'd be easiest for me simply to include you in on my newsletters. But I'm not sure whether it arrived because... well, because your website (actiontekjackson. com) isn't working! If the domain has expired, I don't know that the email would have gotten relayed properly.
Did you get that email? And did you know your website is out?
Dude, yea! I was so stoked! I never though any of my songs would ever get played with a band like Theory in Motion (one of my role models)! I suppose I should get over my fear of rejection and send a few songs out to some radio stations and whatnot... How've you been anyway? Still producing I hope, doing a few shows?
Definitely send some stuff out, man! I'm sure you'd get on...
For me, I'm feeling pretty much at ground zero these, ready to start up again in a new life after having finished and published my CD "Niche Work". I'm doing a bunch of collabs musically, letting my own work simmer a bit in the background. Plus, I've recently been added as a "contributing writer" at planetpulse. org, this website devoted to young, starting artists. Oh, and I'm putzing around a little bit with podcasts... listening to a few and contacting the podcaster if I feel like my music could be a good addition.
