I am an American citizen

I am disciplined, physically and mentally, trained and proficient at what I do,

That I may be productive not only for my own sake, but also for the proliferation of this great nation.

I will bear arms that I may be able to defend my family from those that wish to take advantage of the work of others, and corrupt the freedom of our nation.

I am, even as a citizen, a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
