With an emphasis on professional musicianship, high energy live performances, and a D.I.Y. work ethic, Acubake System has been sharing their music to eager ears since their formation circa April 2007 in the small farm town of Mount Vernon, IA. The project began when Ed Bell (bass/vocals) sparked the idea with Jerry Vick (guitar/vocals). Cody Janko (guitar/vocals) and Alex Bell (drums/vocals) quickly joined to finish up the line-up. Wasting no time the band has already been seen opening up for national acts Killswitch Engage, Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold. With a demo and a regional tour already completed (before any of the members can purchase cigarettes) and a full album in the works it seems as this is just the beginning of Acubake System.
