ADAM & his NUCLEAR ROCKETS started playing in 2003., as a result of an urgent need for a true vintage, 50s sounding rockabilly band in the capital city of Croatia. Darko "DD" Grosek, lead guitarist, and Jurica "Slappinjoy" Stelma, double bassist, came up with an idea to form such band, since we all played for many years in the Mad Men and Mississippi Queen and shared tons of gallons of domestic beer... The main inspiration was our best of friend, Josip "Joke" Adam, who is now a backbone on every level - true rockin' daddy! Anyhow...since then we got to play a lot, and our first album ROCK N ROLL FOR A DIME on EL TORO RECORDS is going well, and will get out fingers in motion again for the second release in 2009, LITTLE PIECE OF SOUVENIR (CD + 10" record). A lot of original songs, combined with daddy's medicine - just have to launch us to the sky!!! Keep rockabillyin' ya all!!!
