As lead singer and songwriter of San Francisco duo Two Gallants, Adam Stephens (with band mate Tyson Vogel) released four critically acclaimed albums and toured incessantly over the past five years. A well deserved break was finally taken providing Adam with a chance to write material for a new project. After forming a band and playing various west coast shows over the past year, Adam went into Sunset Sound in Los Angeles this past September and began recording his debut solo record with producer Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket, The Shins, White Stripes). More details about who played on it, tracklisting, it's release, and of course what it sounds like coming soon...

Thanks so much for being my friend, adam stephens!
I am stopping by to say "hi" and to remind you that in addition to MySpace, you can visit with me on Twitter and Facebook. I also have a personal blog on StockValues.
I write mostly about farming/gardening and stock/bond investing, but also anything else that rattles my cage. Please stop by when you get a chance.
looking forward to hearing the new music! although i wouldn't mind owning a copy of the demo (?) versions of the six songs we've enjoyed on myspace over the past several months either. thanks for what you do!
I am excited for a release for your solo project music. Jen Grady is an awesome contributor. I remember seeing her with Whiskeytown 2000(I think) opening for Jenny Lewis. Glad to see a new performance date. Telling all my friends in SF.
Thank you so much for the add. Your music is awesome and I just discovered it. Scott Lucas from Local H mentioned you at a show. I am making everyone I know listen to it and they all love it. I will definitely be at your show if you come to Minnesota along with a bunch of friends. I hope to see you soon.
