Adramelch were formed in 1987 in Milan, Italy, and recorded their
first album, Irae Melanox,
in 1988, with the following lineup: Gianluca Corona (Gtr), Franco Avalli (Bass)
Vittorio Ballerio (Voice), Luca Moretti (Drums) and Sandro Fremiot (Gtr).
The album has been acclaimed by national and international specialized press
(Kerrang awarded the album with a 4/5), and, despite an initially poor public response,
it slowly achieved the status of cult album in the underground scene.
Soon after the release of Irae Melanox, Adramelch disbanded, and
for a long period the band members have been pursuing individual projects.
In 2003 Gianluca, Franco and Vittorio gathered again, with the first aim to
prevent Gianluca Musical works, composed after Irae Melanox, from falling
into oblivion. After the departure of Franco and the collaboration of different musicians,
Adramelch consolidated the lineup in 2004 with Fabio Troiani (Gtr), Maurizio Lietti (Bass) and
Sigfrido Percich (Drums). Broken History,
Adramelch's second album, was recorded in february 2005 and released in september 2005 for Underground Symphony.
Up to now, more than 50 great reviews has been collected for this album,
which has been acclaimed by specialized press and webzines as a masterpiece.
Adramelch were invited to play at the Headbangers Open Air (2004) Keep it True (2005) and Bang Your Head (2007) festivals in Germany, and Up The Hammers (2007) in Greece, where where they can count on a great number of devoted fans.
Adramelch have just finished to record the preproduction of the new album, and are looking for the "right" label.
