Son of one of the Pioneer Jazz Stand -up Comedian "Dinky Doo Sr." that has a duo back in the 60's in the Philippines called "Pat Salem and Dinky Doo" where my father originally innovated the mouth trumpet mimic sound and his musical lifestyle had influenced me persue my life to dedicate in Music and that's why I made a dedication to all the Jazz Musician who lived in that Era my song entitled "Jazzy Monday".
I had been in the Underground Hip-hop scene since '93 in the Philippines a co-founder of the b-boy krew that inovated breakdancing in the Philippines called "Battle Krew" along with b-boy"Jay Masta" then became a part of the True Asiatik Tribe a Hip-hop group that is a part of the "Masta Plann" known here in the Philippines since '95 along with Dj Sonny "sundoolah" the turn table rulah and Jhonny Krush an Emcee hiphop producer and a former Rock Steady Krew back in the 80's then got hooked up with "KULAY" in '98 the very first R&B Funk trio Filipino group that made it in the U.K. Top of the Charts TV show after then formed a jazz lounge fussion group along with "Boom Dayupay" a hiphop artists,producer,song writter,music video director during that time we formed a group called "Upper suite" 2000 while being a Freestyle Vocalists in a Funk Jazz Fussion Band called "Thirdworld Project" in 2000.
been a part of the local hiphop compilation called "ReKognize" which was a collaboration of most of the hiphop locals along with Dj RB-one,Madd poets,Legit Misfits,Chineese Mafia,7 Shots and more released by a Major Label for showcase of local Hiphop artists and because of dedication to the streets struggled,hungered finally got heard and seen and was picked for a Record Deal in 2003 but ever since '95 we was introducing Neo-soul hip-hop and we was never noticed by the high archy coz they thought hiphop fussion then was too much for the local mass filipinos to handle
then my 1st major guesting on a record I got featured in 2004 had the break along with Boom to make a music video for a Movie Soundtrack called "Crying Ladies" where my song "With you Around" had became a part of..then my Debut Album Finished May 2004 released under "Warner Music Philippines" self entitled "It's meant to be like that!" one of the unique jazzy,neo-soul,hiphop album released that was risked by the labels to show their support in helping local talented artists then a year after I got nominated on a local grammy in the Philippines called "AWIT AWARDS" and on the 18th Annual Awit Music Awards 2005 I get to take home the following blessings: Best RAP,Best Alternative/World Music,Best Jazz,Best Male Performer of the Year "GOD is just so GOOD!" now I just want to venture more in helping artist and take the same journey where ever and whoever I bump into for my purpose is to share this talent that God has given me..."for we are free from within and so let your soul be heard from the motherland across the foreignlands of the pacific and farther more..to the whole UNIVERSE..."
