   About Aethellis

Aethellis takes the forms and feel of classic progressive rock and incorporates a contempary rhythmic feel along with other influences such as funk and techno. The Aethellis album was spearheaded and recorded in 2002/2003 by classically trained keyboardist/vocalist/cellist/hack guitarist/Narcissist Ellsworth Hall and has many influences including power-chord rock, jazz and even hip-hop. This either represents wide tastes or an inability to focus. He puts this genre wanderlust to good use in his soundtrack work with Ellsounds.

Veterans of several bands (most noteably Logos / Affinity in the 80s), the live performing members have been playing tunes from the Aethellis album in addition to other originals by several members that ego-maniac Ellsworth grudgingly allowed. The band also performs classic rock covers so that the audience recognizes SOMETHING.

The "Hubris" music video featuring Frances Swarthington, Cheryl Hall and host of goofy band members attempting to synch to the music soundtrack

hey!
we are trying to change something...
our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health.
so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two...
hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex!
kind regards!

Thanks! they haven't, but I'm still keeping up hope. and that one cool guitar bridge in Tie and Handkerchief is getting me through it all, too.
I give that one the "Most Uplifting Bridge Award in the 80's-style Progressive Sci-fi-ish Category"

hi iam wolfgang the guitarist of dreamscape.
i believe this is a magical world:

Anatole France:
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

Frank Lloyd Wright:
The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.

but: Andre Gide:
Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it.

kind regards!
