AFTERMETH nace en Madrid del encuentro entre el músico-productor Richard Maltés y el cantante y video-artista Nahuel Losada, recién llegado de Nueva York. Ambos, ávidos de probar un sonido al más estilo Pop ochentero, terminan fusionando los sonidos del Pop-Rock con las bases de música techno y house actuales. El producto es una original simbiosis de influencias tan variadas como Depeche Mode, SAW, New Order y como no, el inigualable Carlos Berlanga. Publican en Junio del 2007 su primer CD, de título omnónimo.
AFTERMETH is born from the collaboration between musician/producer, Richard Maltés, and singer/video-artists Nahuel Losada, who had recently returned to Madrid from NYC. Together they search for a pure Pop sound, reminiscent of the 80's, and end up creating an original mix of Pop-Rock and Techno-House. The product immediately recalls varied influences such as Depeche Mode, SAW, New Order and the unparalleled Spanish musician, Carlos Berlanga. The band releases their first full-length CD "Aftermeth" on June, 2007.
