AguaLibre is the new project from 7 of the former members of beloved Bay Area Latin Hip Hop group O-Maya. Combining Afro-Latin sounds, hip hop, soul, and reggae, AguaLibre is guaranteed to get the dance-floor moving and the smiles flowing. Featuring a powerful duo up front; the charismatic, super Lyricist Rico Pabon and the beautiful voice of singer Destani Wolf. AguaLibre’s music is charged with positive, powerful messages of Social change and awareness delivered over the tastiest fusion of the Bay's top players on horns, latin percussion, hip hop drums, phat bass, soaring keys and guitar.
AguaLibre's core members were voted BEST of the BAY 2003 by the SF Weekly, and Best Latin Performer 2004 by readers of the East Bay Express under the band name O-Maya. Their ecstatic audiences anxiously wait for the release of AguaLibre’s Debut album filled with a high quality, high energy, diverse collection of songs that will leave every crowd wanting more.
