About A HISTORY OF

A History Of delivers songs with an earnest conviction and urgency that separates them from a musical climate of irony and its trappings. Punk energy built on angular rhythms and dangerous overtones, their sound lands between DC punk, North East indie and Chicago math rock. The band's lineage imparts a pedigree of great promise with members of The Plan, The Medium Mood, and Tomcat Combat. A History Of released their debut Victory Atlas EP on Noyes Records in the spring of 2007. They're currently working their first full length album, which will be available this fall.

DIVORCE RECORDS	Jul 1 2007 9:12 PM BE BAD - VISION CORRECTION PRE-ORDER Vision Correction is Be Bad's first full-length. It explores elements of post-punk, no wave, noise, and free form psychedelia. Between the label and the band, we went all the way with this one - recorded at one of the top studios in the east by Jay Lapointe, designed by Nicholas MacMillan, and printed in metallic silver! I posted a track from this on myspace, and there are two tracks in the music player on the Divorce site - one track for download. So ya, I appreciate pre-order action.
