About me: The AIGRF (Australian Illegal Gravity Racers Federation) is based in Newcastle NSW and races (rain, hail or shine) the third Sunday of every month.
The idea for the AIGRF came from the kings of soapbox racing The San Fernando Valley Illegal Soapbox Federation. If you have time these guys are worth a look at http://www.sfvisbf.com/

Yeh, NJUSBF, craziest race ever. 3 big crashes, all at 22% grade or higher, big rocks, woods, and deep ravines, destroyed cars, souls and at least one broomstick up soemones ass. That road will never bee run unless the weather is perfect.
Naw, not special tape. The fiberglass and bondo was coming apart like a dry riverbed, so I tried to strap it down to save as much of it as possible. Time to make a new body, and stop patching the old one.
Read the blog for race #10 - looks like a BLAST! If I redesign this right, maybe the Titanium Turbo Gimp can break down small enough to travel in a suitcase...
sounded like a good race then haha. dunno if we have any pictures yet but the kart should be done the race after next cause we're a bit down on materials.
