"I have loved singing since I can remember, but now being able to sing my own songs adds a greater appreciation and love for music than I could have ever imagined. I have heard time and time again that this industry is one full of ups and downs, but when it is something you love there is no denying it! You take the ups with the downs and learn to be appreciative of both. Writing is a type of therapy for me in a way. Not in the sense that I express all my triumphs and sorrows on the page, but writing and music in general helps me realize that my life is pretty good. It makes me take a step back and realize the world is bigger than just me. Music has never been a chore, I never had to be told to practice any instrument because I was on them hours a day learning what they could really do. They always have seemed like another part of me, like an arm or a leg, something very hard to live without. Life is all about love and passion. If you truly love something you will never give up or settle for anything less than the best. Your passion makes work fun. I do it because I love it. No, I more than love it. It's a part of who I am! I feel the most like myself when I am performing. Music, whether singing, writing, playing, or a mixture of all three will be a part of my life as long as I’m here. I'd be miserable without it. I'm here for the long haul!"
