Check out our latest live reviews:

"There are so many pub cover bands out there! So will one more make a difference? I think these guys will, judging by this great CD!
Keeping to the original tracks they easily glide between Queen and Rainbow, the vocalist adapting to Graham Bonnet and Freddie Mercury with ‘Since you been gone’ and ‘Hammer to Fall’. A version of Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ has you imaging what they’d be like in the pub after a few pints.
A very pleasant change next up ‘Easy’ no not Guns N Roses - but the Faith No More/Commodores showing light and shade and a spot on solo! ‘Love in an Elevator’ is just like the original I kid you not! Ending with Freddie again with ‘One Vision’ which builds nicely, the bitey riff would have any place playin’ ‘Air Guitar’ No Probs! HA! The guys cope well with the ‘ballady’ vocal bit in the middle, again with a great solo and drum bit ‘Gimme Gimme Fried Chicken?
That’s not all they do either! Their set covers 30 years of rock from The Darkness, ZZ Top and Chilli Peppers to the Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Green Day and Kaiser Chiefs so book ‘em now!
When I caught the guy’s live I witnessed of loads great renditions, inc Lenny Kravitz’s ‘Are You Going My Way’ and ‘Teenage Kicks’ (Undertones) plus another 23 tracts from both the modern and classic era. A special mention also has to be given to their Nirvana And Nickleback offerings".....Lee 07773 969411

CD and Live Review The Wishing Well 15/9/07

"The band stormed through one classic song after another from bands such as Nirvana, The Cult, Aerosmith, Blink 182 and Foo Fighters, all of which sounded very like the original versions but the band don’t play them in an analytical style, they really do seem to be enjoying every minute of it up there, and don’t seem to take themselves that seriously, even including a rocked up version of Erasures song Respect! The band played a blinder that night with the level of musicianship very high, the audience had a great time, the band definitely play something for everyone, you may even find yourself singing along to that Erasure song!" "Local solid rock covers band A.K.A. played their first gig for us on Friday March 9th. Although they experienced a few feedback problems early on in their set they played a blinding Drummonds debut. We will definitely ask them back".

''Every once in a while you need to go and see a band where you can join a mass sing-a-long, jump and down and pound your fist in the air. A.K.A. play rock classics with all the attitude and the style of the original artists. The band rip through the likes of Love In An Elevator, Jump, One Vision, Teenage Kicks, You Give Love A Bad Name and you can't help singing along to each and every one of them. A.K.A. help you remember why you got into rock music in the first place" Will Munn Ryhthm & Booze Magazine.

"As a band they know their stuff. Each song has been lovingly replicated to sound exactly like the original, which in actual fact is quite an achievement as there are not many bands that can perform note-for-note renditions of Queen, Green Day and Nirvana songs all in the same evening"

Hi A.K.A @ Keystones Sat Sept 5th!! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet".  For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.

This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out.  During this tour last year they recorded a live CD entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has just received rave reviews - you can get it on Amazon.

Also, check out our friend Chad Smith's new band, Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats.  Their debut, "Meet the Meatbats," will be in stores and on iTunes September 15th!
