freshly 22, been doing this since 12, starting with a turntable with a built-in tape deck, then shitty software programs, moving up to dr. sample, now im on cool edit pro and unless a cheap MPC comes my way, i dont plan to change my ways much. all the shit you hear is off original pressings. you dont care. hopefully i can get my act together and finish an album soon. yes, this is old text but its been a strange couple of years. im settled now and ready to finally finish some shit. NO JOKE.

You're back in Grimes now right? How's that going? 2 questions- You ever heard Pete Brown & the Battered Ornaments - A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In the Dark? Just curious. I'm a huge fan of Battered Ornaments - Mantle Piece (I dunno if you know that record or not, but I really dig it) and I'm wondering if the other one will be good. Also, if I'm in Des Moines for a weekend what spots should I try to hit for records? I know the basics, ZZZ and Red Rooster, but is there some other good spots.
