Alan Sparhawk sings and plays guitar in the band LOW, does the same in a band called Retribution Gospel Choir, and to some extent, in a band called the Black-Eyed Snakes. In August 2006, he released a solo guitar CD on Silber Media records. Alan plays solo live, on rare occasions. Although it’s just the two of them, this ep has a very built-up sound, which is reminiscent of Jessica’s earliest output and Annelies’ most recent live shows. Vocals, guitars and cello- and keyboard drones get a very prominent role on these recordings.
The cdep comes in a ltd. edition of 310 numbered copies, in an lp-alike sleeve, with partially handwritten linernotes by annelies.
