The latest Raconteurs cd is amazing! And the new DISTURBED CD "Indestructable" drops on June 3rd!!! I've been digging the new FLOBOTS disc more and more..it's a little political and rappy...but still...it's catchy as hell. Plus...I'm a HUGE PARROTHEAD! Jimmy Buffet has long been a favorite of mine. Seen his show about 16 times, been to numerous Jimmy Buffet stores..including his first shop in Key West back in the 80's, which was on this small t-shirt shop on this old pier that was wall to wall t-shirts and stuff.
Movies
Submarine movies!!! The new IRON MAN movie is so good! It could possibly be the best SUPERHERO movie of all time! Looking forward to the new DARK KNIGHT as well! Action flicks and most comedys. Will watch old westerns until I pass out! One of favorites is a western called MY NAME IS NOBODY! Spagetti western with Henry Fonda....Ennio did great music for this one!
Television
Military channel! No new TV these days!!! CRAP! I did see the new ANDROMEDA STRAIN deal on TV...and it sucked when compared to the original 1971 movie. Cool cartoon called ROBOTBOY, and repeats of ROCKO's MODERN LIFE are always good. So are old episodes of Home Movies. Is Rockford Files on anymore? New Squidbillies "Beast Implants" made me winch..but I laughed!
Books
New NIKKI SIXX book, the Heroin Diaries is out...just finished reading it! It's a MUST READ for any Crue fan...or heroin fan for that matter! Couldn't put it down..the book that is ;) I also just finished the new SLASH book...it's an amazing account of that knuckleheads life so far...And I got a copy of the original "THE IRON MAN" story..the one they made into "The Iron Giant"..it's really good. About me: Let's see...I'm really just a big kid! For good or for bad, that's who I am. I work in radio in Eugene, Oregon right now. I'm on the air at 97 9 KNRQ, doing the afternoon show! Radio is what I've wanted to do since I was 5. Lucky for me my high school had a radio program. Went through that and have been working in radio for 26 years. That makes me a 44 year old kid! Outside of radio, I like to spend time backpacking with my dog and other friends who are crazy enough to follow me into the woods. I also play a lot of video games, enjoy firearms(safely & responsibly), & love my family.
