We've known each other for four years and we've been sharing love and music for a year now. We'd like to believe it's gonna last forever... When we met, we both had eight years of performing behing; we'd gathered ideals and dissapointments, songs and memories to write about. We put our dreams in this simple name: ALEXANDRA & ALEC.
In 2008 we won the 3rd prize @ the "Battle Of Songs" contest with the track "Asculta-ma" (Listen to me).
In April 2009 we premiered the Marius Nedelcu / Alexandra & Alec Unplugged show, live on Apropo.ro. It was the first time a Romanian mainstream pop artist joined forces with an indie band to create a one-of-a-kind show for broad audiences.
Alexandra & Alec means inspiration, professionalism, commitement. We fermly refuse lipsynching (shamefully popular in Romania) and compromise. 100% live means 100% magic.
We are currently working on our debut album and we have ideas for a whole discography :)
