Si definiscono “…il primo gruppo neo-swing italiano “anche se il Maestro Pippo Barzizza non sarebbe stato affatto d’accordo : cosi si presentavano gli “ALIBIFULMINE ” , storico gruppo genovese che paladini di un’irrefrenabile miscela musicale fatta di swing e bossanova a tinte “noir” avevano imperversato negli anni '80 seminando ritmo e togliendo ore di prezioso sonno alla viziosa popolazione notturna dei locali.
Innumerevoli concerti a Genova e in Italia , programmazioni radiofoniche (RADIO 2 , Peterflower ,Montecarlo ecc…) presenza sulla stampa specializzata e non (Rockerilla Fare Musica ,Ciao 2001 , Secolo XIX, Il Lavoro ecc…) fortunato seguito dell ‘uscita discografica nel 1985 di “ALIBI FULMINE “ mini-LP prodotto con l’ausilio di Marco Col angelo della Project Records , e del 45 giri “Sai fermando il mondo/Sweetie babe “per la WEA/Project Records nel 1988.
Atmosfere notturne , whisky a go go , gioco e perdizione sono l’ambiente ideale per ascoltare questa band che gia negli anni ’80 aveva testi in italiano ispirati perlopiu’ ad un sofferto individualismo ed da un malessere esistenziale sfogato nel divertimento piu’ sfrenato.
Oggi, sempre capitanati dall’irrefrenabile Maurizio “Nesp'Ola “Magnasciutti , chitarrista e fondatore del gruppo tornano entusiasti a riproporsi con una nuova formazione ed un repertorio completamente rinnovato con stimolanti soluzioni.
Quello degli “ALIBI FULMINE “ è un sound che come punto di partenza ha una matrice swing-bossa -nova con riferimenti, anche visivi agli anni ’40 e ’50 ed alla “Spy movie music”, musica d’autore comunque che non teme incursioni in altri generi musicali quali la new wave; un particolare lavoro di ricerca è stato fatto su tutto cio' che concerne la musica da film del passato, dalle big-bands americane fino agli italianissimi autori del panorama dei B-Movies ( P.Piccioni,G.Ferrio,P.Umiliani ecc...). Il tutto sempre cantato rigorosamente in italiano dalla bella vocalist Sabrina Verdi.
