About me: I'm just someone trying to convert all this knowledge to some wisdom!
I work at a great company and at the right time ... The company is this little site called MySpace (ever heard of it). Personally, I think this little Internet thing is in its terriable twos and teething but trying to find an identity! I'm literally sitting on the inside watching out as this next phase of the Internet called Social Networks take their hold! You wouldn't believe how many social fuctions translate well to the cyber world.
How often can you know how lucky you are in the moment that you live in special times! I am aware!
I'm just trying to grow and grow! Every so often while I'm walking around this planet in my spacesuit we call a human body the world over powers my Ego/ID and my soul learns a bit!
Some Day - I want to have a room in a house that I build that is just framed lyrics from the most moving, important, and life changing lyrics (we all have those songs) on the wall. That room would just be hardwood floors, wood benched, and white wall (resembling an art gallery) - those frames lyrics would be the only thing need to paint the room in colors ...
Below are the most important lyrics that will every adorne that room ... they are words that carry me thru the thick, the thin, the ebb, and the flow of life:
Change - Shannon Hoon
I don't feel the suns comin' out today
its staying in, its gonna find another way.
As I sit here in this misery, I don't
think I'll ever see the sun from here.
And oh as I fade away,
they'll all look at me and say, and they'll say,
Hey look at him! I'll never live that way.
But that's okay
they're just afraid to change.
When you feel your life ain't worth living
you've got to stand up and
take a look around you then a look way up to the sky.
And when your deepest thoughts are broken,
keep on dreaming boy, cause when you stop dreamin' it's time to die.
And as we all play parts of tomorrow,
some ways will work and other ways we'll play.
But I know we all can't stay here forever,
so I want to write my words on the face of today.
and then they'll paint it
And oh as I fade away,
they'll all look at me and they'll say,
Hey look at him and where he is these days.
When life is hard, you have to change.
Who I'd like to meet: People! Really grounded people! I grew up in Northern Virginia, moved to Huntington Beach when I was 22, lived in London, England for most of 2000 and finally moved up to LA from HB in late 2004. So, I'm looking to make friends up here in LA La la la!
Fun times, Allen! How did the tea pots fly? Hope to see you out here again, soon! Next time hang out a few more days; looking forward to more of your stories. xox
