In 2008 Ally Storch decided to record her first solo album after working many years for lots of different bands (ASP, Haggard, div. Folk Bands...) Therefore she needed urgently a skilled and passioned guitarist. The first and best recommendation was also the perfect match: Robert Klawonn became co-writer and guitar-hero of this brand new project. But the first musician for "Ally the Fiddle" was undoubtedly drummer Stefan "Huky" Hukriede, with whom Ally was playing in many Folk bands and was trying out lots of projects - without the real satisfaction. Looking for a second guitarist was not quite easy. But a few times ago Rob and Ally had a nice little appearance for the students of the rock and pop school they were teaching in. It was a song by Vinnie Moore "Race with Destiny" and an additional guitarist was needed - so a former student of Rob was playing. So remembering that nice event Diemo Heuer was asked and found his way into the band. But the biggest problem became to find a bassist. In a small town with just a hand full of bass playing musicians, who all where involved in lots of projects. After a long search Huky had the idea to ask on of his "old fellows" from his hometown Kiel. Fortunately he was interested and the band is still proud to play as these 5 musicians!
