The name AlNamrood is derived from an ancient historical autocratic character (King Nimrod) who once reigned the world with an overpowerful evil, slaughtered and ruled with despotic, also said "im the god of all creation".
The idea of making an arabian metal was suggested by Mukadars when he discussed with Ostron about making Arabian style, they did one track and the idea worked. However, they were lacked of guitar and bass sounds, that's when Mephisto joined them and implied the idea of combining the Arabic style with Black Metal. The three minds planed for their genre until they came out with the AlNamrood project.

There once was a time in the land where the sun was worshiped as god and its embrace with the moon made the earth hold its breath as time stood still in silence, and at that hour the smothered sun shall cloak the whole world in the dead blackness of midnight giving birth to the Element Of Eclipse.

Indeed, it also means they got it into Plastichead Distribution, which is good, as they supply lots of places. And you have to check out the HMV in Oxford Street and also Resurrection Records in Camden. I saw Orion (Behemoth's bassist) in there the other day before a gig actually, the place is fucking insane and had a table to drop flyers off at as well so if you do decide to visit the place then by all means drop some flyers off there. It has many rare vinyls and some great CDs, picked up two Striborg DVDs there infact.
Also make sure you check to see if there are any gigs on around the time you're in London and Manchester, they're both good places for metal bands.
The albums were in HMV, London, Oxford Street. Biggest music store in the country. They have literally thousands upon thousands of metal bands in the store, two whole isles of the stuff, plus vinyls and more. So getting your CD in there is fantastic!
Wow, Manchester is a looong way away from me (I'm from just south east of London, in Southend) so would be a hike, but would be great to see you live for sure!
Was in London today and saw your demo and full-length in the largest music store in the country, the ones released by Shaytan. Congratulations on that!
