Al's little sister Stella's Kentucky Deli is now open for Dinner! Enjoy the same great food Wednesday through Friday until 9pm. Madness!
Most accounts reflect that Al's Bar (and Grill) has been at the corner of Sixth Street and Limestone for roughly 12,000 years serving the local community intoxicating potions of barley and malts and standard bar fare. In May of 2007, new owners purchased the bar and rededicated it to local food, particularly a variety of gourmet burgers, and Kentucky's best Bluegrass music. The bar is currently working to establish itself as the premier Bluegrass music venue in the entire universe, although other genres of music can also be experienced on site. Other amenities for the dedicated patron include the Ping Pong Cage, Pool Table, Miss Pac-Man, a large-screen projector television (for important events like Kentucky Wildcat games), and the world's most extensive bourbon list for a dive bar featuring over 25 bourbons and Kentucky whiskies.
