Altera Enigma is the Jazz Fusion influenced Progressive Metal/Rock band of Jason De Ron (the former guitarist of Paramaecium), Jefray Arwadi (guitarist and vocalist of Kekal) and Kenny Cheong, a Jazz Fusion bass player who plays 5 string fretless. These musicians have a career that has seen them record and released nearly 20 albums between them.

Altera Enigma utilizes modulating time signatures, rich Jazz-Fusion inspired chord progressions and memorable, emotion driven melodies, and expressive, stunning lead work. Always conscious of melody and utilizing tight, powerful arrangements, their music takes listeners on an aural journey via sophisticated harmony and elaborate, engaging rhythms.
