Hailing from Argentina, Ancestrum represents ice cold Pagan Black Metal from the southern lands. A dark journey throughout diabolic hymns and ancestral melodies. Fueled by the devotion to pagan beliefs, founding members Mortem and Asteroth, together with drummer Wodanaz, started up in late 2008. In november 2008 Ancestrum entered Tawa Studios to record their Ep debut; Paganstorm. During the recordings Asphodel follows the band. In february 2009 the album was released by Southern Lust Records. The response from both press and fans all around the world has been outstanding so far. After releasing Paganstorm, Wodanaz left the band. A live line-up was completed with session members Darkrio, Soth and Elrond, resulting in live gigs rest of the year…
