About me:
After over 30 years in the music industry as a performer, session musician and sound engineer, I am now looking to share my knowledge and experience and move into the comfort of sound recording and production.
Not, I hasten to add in the mainstream industry, because in all the years I have spent there I have seen how new, small and unsigned local bands struggle to find a place to put down their ideas, or record and produce that first all important demo that might just open the doors and let the world hear their music.
ANCHORSTUDIO intends to fill that gap, by giving bands a place to develop ideas, record demo’s and produce CD’s to professional standards for promoting their work
ANCHORSTUDIO is a project studio based in Lancashire, it has been enlarged and updated in September 2007, and is available for bands and performers who need that space to develop and put down their ideas.
I will also be available to give advice on the how, what, where and why of live sound performance and production with support on equipment and how to get the best from it, can engineer live gigs.

A family run studio using years of experience, we now blend the warmth of analogue, with the quality of digital, giving you the sound everyone is looking for.
We can produce demos on CD, tape and minidisk, with a small run copying and cover design service, and prepare and produce press kits.
In other words we can give you the full package you need, that will make people take you seriously…
