Originally formed in Southern CA around the year 2000. The name Ancillary Theorem is defined as "subordinate to one thought or idea". The music proves to be a highly diverse range of intermeshing styles. Overall we consider our music to be termed "Alternative Metal". Although, there are many songs with directly moderate melodic appeal. Ancillary Theorem strives for a severely varied approach to styles. Our musical purpose is one of art. To create and narrate a feeling, story, or concept through our music. As a band we stand for those who cannot speak for themselves. The ones who feel invisible.
