ROLLING STONE REVIEW: Anders Parker, the singer-songwriter formerly known as Varnaline, has crafted a resolute set of songs that moves fluidly from rugged country-indie to scorched-earth rockers to frosted cabin-in-the-woods-style ballads.
Tell It to the Dust is bursting with cameos, including Kendall Meade (Mascott) and Jay Farrar (Son Volt), both of whom especially lend credence to Parker's already elemental songs.
"Keep Me Hanging On" is one of those songs that's so perfect, it seems more born than written; Parker's dry, slightly bruised vocals stirs up Meade's supple, simple alto until they match the same emotional pitch.
"Doornail (Hats Off to Buster Keaton)" is a maelstrom of a song that leaves blisters in its wake. Tell It to the Dust is Parker's obvious bid for recognition -- and proof that he should get it. (MARGARET WAPPLER)

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
Greetings. I just wanted to thank you for your continued support and invite you to have a first listen on myspace to the tracks off the new EP "Monster & Minstrel" due out later this month. Bright stars to you! Ahmond
Anders, I am really enjoying the Skyscraper Crow records. Both are great additions to your discography! Some of the songs are quite haunting. Great pictures of you as well! Keep on rockin'!!
totally bummed I missed your shows around Ktown- I got myself on your mailing list so I will be up-to- date since I am not on myspace as much! congrats on the new release xo
Got the record in the mail today, gave me a much needed lift! For all those who miss Space Needle & Reservoir (even though that was Jud solo) Skyscraper carries that Torch honorably. Crow is excellent, and the presence, clarity, and execution of the vocals unifies the two and are some of your best work on that front. Stellar guitar work as always. So... now for Electric guitar and no vocals at all huh?
Whatup? Hope all is well, I am doing some late later night mastering and just uploaded Motor kine from a garage jam session. The new Black Crowes album is worth at listen, and if you have not used the new Apple logic software you need to. It is by far the most powerful / easy to use recording software I have ever seen. Drop a dime when you come to southern california.

to celebrate, American HeartBeat Records(tm) has arranged a FREE DOWNLOAD of Now Is The Time in exchange for a valid email address. Now Is The Time is a brand new, upbeat song I wrote: we are living in turbulent times. suddenly it is okay to be greedy and heartless? no way! a song of hope for our future, a new vision of America and the world.
we have a bunch of exciting things planned to kick this whole thing off, and we need to get a better picture of who our friends are, so the FREE DOWNLOAD form will ask you a few questions, like, what is your country and nearest major city. it all takes maybe 15 seconds.
anyhoo, the FREE DOWNLOAD, and the FUN, begins at www.JAETCHISON.com
I look forward to getting to know you a little better, and I thank you SO VERY MUCH for your friendship and support!
please tell your friends about JAETCHISON.com, and ask them to sign up for the email list, too! FUN things are coming up!!
