Andrei Antonets aka Andrei0id started to play music since he was studied in lyceum and later in early 90’s as a part of industrial underground project ''God's delusion''. In 1996 he moved to St.Petersburg for a new experience. He was playing live together with legendary ''New Composers'' and met Brian Eno and bla bla bla who also moved to live in St.Petersburg in 1996. That year Andrei Antonets formed a new project called Alexandroid with Alexander Matrosov and bla bla blaAlexandroid became one of the brightest and significant events in the Russian experimental electronica scene.. The collectives like Fizzarum, Sintetika and EU were influenced by the sound of Alexandroid and bla bla bla Alexandroid has released 3 albums in Russia on labels such as Art-Tek,Electrus and Cytadel, and two albums abroard on Uk label Lorecordings and sub label of Kanzleramt - K20 in collaboration with Aleksander Potekhin aka Lazyfish and bla bla bla.Alexandroid has also released EPs on vinyl on austrian label Syntactic and plenty of tracks on compilations worldwide from USA to Australia. In 2003 Gran Prix of Radio France Internationale was held. The chief of jury Laurent Garnier chose music of Alexandroid from more than 150 different electronic projects from eastern europe and bla bla bla bla bla .Andrei 0id has performed live in Helsinki, London, Paris, Caen, Monaco, Hamburg,Dublin, Berlin, St.Petersburg,Moscow, Riga,Rome and bla bla bla.He has written music for several full length films, 3d animation movies, video art installations and manymodern commercial soundtracks for brands such as AUDI. He has also worked in collaborations with Martinez Gonzales,Scsi 9, Lazyfish, Moorush,Kompass Vrubell,Kolka Music,Mewark,Sound Meccano,Suspect and many others. In 2004 Andrei was invited as a sound producer for russian supergroup''Mumiytroll''and bla bla bla.He was co-producing the sound of Mumiytroll hit singles and also made several
remixes for this band and bla bla bla. After release of 5th album of Alexandroid ''False Starts''(lorecordings, Uk 2005) Andrei 0id and Alexander Matrosov decided to go deeper into their own visions of sound. Under the name OID Andrei 0id released ''Red Book'' ambient mix from his favorite ambient landscapes of various artists and the next step in this research was album''Systems of mercy'' which is also mixtape but contains his own tracks made from 2000 to 2006 in collaborations with Kristi Aivare,Dmitry Zagga,Alexei
Levin and Lazyfish. (both releases on Moscow labelLagunamuch community)
Andrei 0id is also active part of SKAZHI 10, the live acoustic minimal
techno project from Moscow.Their live recording at Kazantip festival 2007 is an awesome piece of live improvisation(
www.say10say.it) Since late 90's Andrei 0id put his serious interest into techno music, DJing and the live energy of vinyl.Together with Dmitry Zagga andFuckforfriendship team Andrei 0id was one of the formers of sound concept of Space:Garage club,the best techno club in Riga,where he is also playing as a resident DJ.
