“What came of those two five-hour recording sessions at the Paradise Studios in Sacramento are eight unprocessed, refreshing tracks that fans of Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson are sure to fall in love with. The level of musicianship found on "The Paradise Sessions" is becoming more and more rare these days. These guys are obviously professional, seasoned players making music for the all the right reasons.”
"As Andrew Heringer took the stage at Monterey Live!, even before the lights dimmed, a hush fell over the crowd... Heringer's extensive theater background goes a long way on stage. Heringer grew up a multi-instrumentalist, but was not one to spread his talents too thin; his technical skill involving the guitar matches the skill level of his songwriting, especially "Morgan the Conquerer", a clever song about his sister conquering the world...With music in the vein of Dave Mathews, Heringer proves it to be thoroughly modern, yet evoke memories of childhood, not unlike Jack Johnson."
"After coming out with three self-released solo albums ... Heringer has now taken his sound to the next level with his new incarnation, the Andrew Heringer Band, a unique amalgam of folk, rock, jazz and funk, which Heringer labels as 'fock junk'.”
"Andrew Heringer, a new-age folk-style singer/songwriter comparable to, though not necessarily defined by, the likes of Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and Jason Mraz, he’s spent the past few years traveling the country with his music. Sometimes playing solo, sometimes with his band. He’s released three solo albums since 2005 and the Andrew Heringer Band put out its first, a jazz-folk-rock-fusion, in 2008."

There are few independent artists who have driven the West Coast building a fan base as much as singer-songwriter Andrew Heringer has in recent years. Whether it is solo or with a full band, Northern California native Andrew Heringer has spread his blend of folk, rock and pop independently of any record label to thousands playing over 200 shows since 2006.
From performing early in his teen years, Heringer found his presence on stage as both a musician and an actor. While studying classical and jazz guitar, Heringer began to write his own songs inspired by his parents CD collection that contained music legends such as James Taylor, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. During his time at the University of California at Irvine, where he studied acting and pursued a degree in Theater, Heringer wrote, recorded and played his music while also balancing his studies and theater requirements. During this time he released three albums with the assistance of his dedicated friends and collaborators.
Upon graduation in 2007, he found that his work writing and recording these three albums had paid off, as he had established a solid fan base along the West Coast. Since, he has booked two successful West Coast tours, sold over 5,000 units and released “The Paradise Sessions” as the Andrew Heringer Band, a six-piece Folk/Rock/Jazz/Funk group. “The Paradise Sessions” takes songs from Heringer’s first three albums and provides a full band experience comparable to Dave Matthews Band and Jason Mraz.
The second album for the Andrew Heringer Band is due out at the end of 2009 and a summer tour is currently being planned with New York based band Big Tree.
Things for me have been going very slow and I've just been jamming out some new tunes and am planning on recording an EP and releasing it by September.
I just thought I shouldn't be negligent to my fans so I thought I would drop by and give a quick hello and ask you you were doing. I love you and I hope you are having a wonderful summer.
I've been playing your album pretty much non-stop in the car lately.. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were driving around in Carmel Valley, and thinking that he might be sick of hearing the same songs over and over again, I had switched your CD out for a John Mayer one.
he then said "I like John Mayer and all, but can we put that other CD back in? I really like that Morgan the Conqueror song."
Just wanted to let you know that you now have a new fan.
Yeah, man... Friday nights jam in the tent was awesome! I had a great time jammin' with you. We should throw something together at the Cozmic Cafe this Fall. Happy Summer! Peace...
