I came to a saving knowledge of my creator in 1991. Since then I have been in the process of documenting his work in and through me (many times in spite of me) through music, poetry, speaking, journalism, and literature. I hope, more than anything else, to know his heart more every single breath of every single day, and to pass on everything he shows me to anyone who would listen. I front my one and only band, Project 86, which I started in 1996. I have written three books (almost finished with number four!), recorded seven records, and have been fortunate enough to write for many great magazines and websites, such as Relevant, AP, and many others. I recently married my best friend and the love of my life and am settling into my amazing new family. I hope to spend my entire life communicating with all of you as long as I have eyes that function, a voice that can whisper, and hands remain steady enough to hold a pen..
I believe God is in the business of defying our expectations. I believe he cannot be mocked, but loves to mock proud men. I believe God's plan for us are beautiful because, many times, they are the opposite of what we think they should be. I believe he operates in ways that we least expect. The shock and surprise and excitement of this cannot be overestimated, and cannot be overlooked on this side of eternity...
Please, PLEASE let us buy Do Not Disturb again! I used to have it but I gave it to this girl I was into that loved poems and such... Worst idea ever! Hahah.
Congradulations on the FINISH of your book. It's quite an acomplishment for sure. Any plans on donating any of the proceeds to one of the organizations that you believe in? That would be awesome. OR....maybe start an organization of your own?!?

I would like to take a moment to say: I absolutely love all the different kinds of hats you wear! I'm curious as to if you wear them in some kind of pattern. Like perhaps you only a fedora on days of the week that begin with the letter 'T'. Or maybe you only wear a golf hat when you're in California. I'm just curious. I just wanted to make you aware that I admire your fashion sense when it comes to hats. I don't believe I've ever seen you in one that you didn't rock completely. Thank you. Have a magnificent day.
