Alternative pop songster Andy Davis keeps busy in ‘09 with brand new music and a solid touring schedule. Answering demands for more piano and soaring falsetto, Davis launches a creative partnership with BriteEntertainment.com in March ‘09, releasing two exclusive songs every month for a year to Brite’s subscribers. Davis also hits the road in March with the rising stars of Nashville’s alt-pop scene, as the Ten Out Of Tenn tour hits South by Southwest and the entire west coast. Following the Ten Out of Tenn Tour, Davis heads out on his own headlining tour, beginning in his own stomping grounds of the Southeast, rapidly covering all major US markets.
Earning comparisons from Ben Folds to Paul Simon to Billy Joel, this Nashville-based 26-year-old embraces a range of styles, influences and genres. Davis’ hip twist on classic songwriting is no longer an internet secret either—selling over 25K records independently, Davis released his last album Let The Woman exclusively through Barnes & Noble (Debuted 4 on Barnes & Noble Bestseller List).
Let the Woman was recorded “old-school” in ten straight days with renowned producer Mitchell Froom (Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Randy Newman). Following its release, Davis logged miles on the road during 2008, sharing the stage with the likes of Jakob Dylan, Tyler Hilton, Matt Wertz, Need to Breathe, Dave Barnes and more.
While appearing on the Ten Out of Tenn summer and Christmas tours (other artists include Griffin House, Erin McCarley, Katie Herzig), Davis’ song “Beautiful Day For Bad News” received a significant nod from USA Today as “Pick of the Week” (Aug ’08). Davis’ songs have also appeared in ABC Family’s Beautiful People.
In 2007, Davis earned industry accolade when he was presented with ASCAP's Leon Brettler Award -- given to the most outstanding songwriter featured in the Nashville Workshop Series.

Kennewick and Spokane, Washington and now Orlando, Florida....Andy Davis three times in one year? Amazing! Technically I'm not stalking you....You just keep performing where I live at the moment. Hope that doesn't freak you out and that you're ready for the rain.
Hi there. I truly enjoy your music, and I would love it if you could help me out with mine. I entered the Myspace Records Unsigned Artists Competition, and I would love it if you could check out the widget on my homepage and just listen to Window, Window - my song entry - a few times. Or if you really love it, grab the widget and post it on your own page.
I guess currently I'm one of those "car people" missing out on your extended set, but hey, I loved what I heard via WRLT.com :) Will be seein you in Orlando or Jax in a couple weeks, Mr. Davis!
