Sounds Like
Himself! With subtle (hopefully) hints of all of the above :)
Distilling flavours from the likes of Nick Drake, James Taylor, John Martyn and Neil Finn into his own heady brew, Andy has been quietly picking up admirers here there and everywhere over the past six years. He has released two albums, "Strawberry Girl" and "Astrovertigo", both to acclaim. The follow up "Ladle & Salt" is scheduled for release on March 15, 2009.
Andy's beautifully crafted songs and soulful performances are already making many sit up and take notice, and with the new album imminent, there's never been a better time to check out Andy's music. Welcome!
Smashing set on Sunday at The Barley Mow- Lizzie really complements your stuff superbly. Shame the golfers missed it! Hope Musician went well. (PS in an unguarded moment you said you'd run off a few tracks of sunday's band for me!)
This month we mostly have Catie Curtis (with a Richard Thompson cover), Lindsay Fuller and The Cheap Dates (and who amongst us isn't?), Josh Fix with a track from the well-titled album This Town Is Starting To Make Me Angry and the rather lovely Red Rooster.
Four more little sonic gems for your August pleasure are now available on the site. Blitzen Trapper, Boulder Acoustic Society, Jay Brannan and The Wiyos. Yet another fine quartet even though we say so ourselves as picked them out.
Hello, after an unfortunate hiatus, the reasons for which are probably best not gone into here, we finally have some new music on the AUK MySpace site. For your listening pleasure this month we offer Nathan Oliver, Conrad Ford, the irrepressible Todd Snider and the delightful Beccy Owen. Don't forget too, for those of you within striking distance of Leicester, Electric Dustbowl 2 on 19 September.

Take care and keep up the good work, Tom.

Hi Andy, Great to have you as a friend!! Best wishes, Mike (Brett Huckfield's promo team). PS Please check out Brett's debut release 'Here Again' (available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster etc.) Hope you enjoy the music!!
Hello, it's that time of the month again when we add more lovely music to our site. This month's happy foursome are The Barker Band in wistful mode, the summer of love-ish Old Californio, the anything but summer love-ish Christopher Rees and, wait for it..."Travelling Salesman's Young Wife Home Alone On Christmas In Montpelier, VT" from Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, which evenr if it was rubbish (and it's not) just had to be included for the names alone.
We have just uploaded some songs from our forthcoming album 'Kill or Cure' to our MySpace page and we also have a new download area at http://rockrecordsuk.co.uk/music.php from which all our music can be downloaded for free.
