Angercore sees the light in winter 2003 from the ashes of some punk and hardcore bands.
In early January 2004 after releasing the EP "Consequences" the band has been welcomed by the press in Italy and Europe, with the song Arouse All constantly playlisted in Italy, Belgium and Holland and Shot featured in two compilations by JustPromotion in USA (3.000 copies). Always following the DIY formula Angercore played more than 50 shows in Italy and Europe, it also counts the participation to RockTV Tour 2004 and two live sessions broadcasted on RockTV as well.
After one year and a half of rest and a major change in the line-up the guys come out with a newer and fresh sound, mixing old school emocore and nowadays post-hardcore, with a strong modern rock influence, resulting as a blend of experienced american bands (compared to Thrice and Helmet) and the dramatic power of the swedish scene (like Blindside).
In summer 2007 Angercore recorded and mixed (by Carlo "Fajo" Girardi) a full length album of 11 tracks (featuring trombone and bass of Mau Mau), mastered by Alan Douches at WestWest Side Music Studio in New York (Dillinger Escape Plan, Fall Out Boy, Snapcase, Atreyu) and shooted a video with Francesco Calabrese of Souljackerfilm, previously director for The Fire, Nek and Medusa and some short movies for SKY TV Italia.
The debut album "Time reveals" comes up in a deluxe digipack limited edition featuring extra-contents and official video "Theory Of Integrity", released in 2008 worlwide through Myphonic Records via Plastichead distribution, available from the official stores of the label (www.myphonic.com and www.myspace.com/myphonic_records) and more than 40 digital stores (iTunes, Snocap, Emusic, Napster).
