The Band of A.O.G was established in 2006, Eskisehir Turkey. The Founders of the band are Ozan, Sertaç and Öner. in this year Engin has joined to Ankh Of Gloria and after this time they started to compose their own music. at the begining a.o.g was a symphonic metal band, some of violas and soprano vocals were in it, but after a few times the group decieded and try to create their own style, which has symphonic melodies, thrash and heavy metal fundamentals. this sound was harder then first Ankh Of Gloria sound. in this style each song has a history and all of the songs belong to "Gordia The Glorian" fantastic story, which was written by Ozan. In year of 2007; They made a soundtrack to pc game of "Istanbul Hikayeleri"..(Kayip Golgeler Diyari)They add Mert Yavasca to Ankh Of Gloria as a illustrator, they performed two concerts which are 'MTVWinter Fest III' and 'Anadolu Universitesi Bahar Senlikleri'.on the other hand, Ankh Of Gloria: (means that) * a key which opens the door, through the heaven and * a key of glory. The aim the Ankh Of Gloria try to create a music which has turkish melodies and metal fundamentals, which called 'Glory Metal'.

Istanbul Hikayeleri adli türk yapimi korku-gerilim oyununa "Kayip Gölgeler Diyari" adli sarkiyi yaptilar ve Mert Yavasca'yi grup görsel illüstratörü olarak Ankh Of Gloria ailesine kattilar.. 2007 yili haziran ayi'nda "Dim Motion" adli bir single cali..masi yayinladilar.. kapak tasarimlarinin tamami orjinal olup Mert Yavasca'ya aittir. bu single'a ulasmak isteyenler ankhofgloria@hotmail.com adresine adres ve isim-soyad bilgilerini ulastirdiklari takdirde kargo ücreti karsiligi single'i edinebilirler. Ayrica: Grubun ismi olan 'Ankh Of Gloria' daha önce Ozan tarafindan yazilan 'Gordia The Glorian' adli amatör fantastik kurgu öyküsünün bir yansimasi olup,sarkilarin hepsi bu öyküde bir yere sahiptir..bu yönüyle de grubun tarzi Power metal adlandirmasina da girmektedir fakat grup bir tarz adlandirmasi adi altinda sinirlanmak istememektedir.. 'Ankh Of Gloria' adI kelime anlami olarak bircok degisik anlam icermektedir.Bunlardan grubun benimsedigi iki anlam mevcuttur,bunlar: 'Cennetin AnahtarI' ve 'Essizlg.in Anahtari'dir.Müziklerinde ve sarki sözlerinde de bu kelimelerden yola cikan grup felsefesi;müzigin essizligine açilmayi bekleyen bir kapiyi açmanin yolu (anahtari) olmaktan gecmektedir..
