Exposé (Ann, Gioia and Jeanette) have reunited and are planning various concerts in 2006/07 (Kelly will hopefully be making an appearance on some dates).
Please check out the following MySpace pages for up to date details:
Ann Katherine Curless, best known for being one-third of Exposé, was born in Amsterdam, New York on October 7th.
Before she had success with Exposé, Ann participated in a high school band called the Miami Beach Senior High Rock Ensemble. This school-sponsored endeavor was the brainchild of one Doug Burris and he was responsible for teaching Ann how to play the guitar. Ann later enrolled in the University of Miami School of Music. She chose to major in both Music and Music Merchandising.
Ann Curless was the last member to join Exposé following recommendation to Lewis A Martineé via an associate in the industry. Ann had either graduated or was finishing her major and was working in one of the ubiquitous cover bands in Miami. She applied for Exposé and joined the group, alongside Gioia Bruno and Jeanette Jurado. Kelly Moneymaker later joined the group following Gioia Bruno's departure.
Today, in addition to Exposé's work, Ann has been involved in various projects outside of the group. She has written/co-written several songs and has even had one used for an English band, Degrees of Motion. She has also given seminars for new talent; wishing to teach the novices the pitfalls of the industry. She has acted in several productions, including a few commercials, as well as the theater.
Her solo ventures include:
Recording three tracks with a group called CLUELESS, namely LATELY, ONE and OPEN ARMS (released on ZYX Records in March 1999). LATELY was also released as a single with various remixes.
Ann followed that project by appearing as guest vocalist for JJ on a song entitled "COME TO ME" (released on Waako Records in March 2000).
Ann then appeared as guest vocalist alongside Jermain Maxwell for the K&M PROJECT on a song entitled "HEAVEN KNOWS" (released on Waako Records in November 2000).
