MY PASSION IS PAINTING AND RUNNING. ON NOVEMBER 1, 200, I COMPLETED THE BASS PRO MARATHON WITH MY RUNNING GROUP AND MY DEAR FRIEND DENISE. MY RUNNING GOALS THIS YEAR: TO RUN NASHVILLE TN COUNTRY MUSIC MARATHON - Accomplished on April 25th, 2009!, CHICAGO MARATHON -SEPTEMBER (Do to new work schedule, I was not able to make this one), BASS PRO MARATHON -NOVEMBER - Accomplished 11/1/09 AND DO MY FIRST TRIATHLON IN REPUBLIC IN AUGUST 2009 - this was accomplished on 8/15/09! GOALS FOR 2010 : ST. LOUIS MARATHON, BASS PRO MARATHON, AND MY ULTIMATE GOAL OF BRANSON IRONMAN!!! I HAVE NEVER CLAIMED TO BE FAST. RUNNING IS NOT A NATURAL TALENT FOR ME. THE FACT IS...I'M VERY SLOW - MY CHILDREN TELL ME THAT I AM NOT 'AERODYNAMIC'! I HAVE ACCEPTED THE FACT THAT I'M JUST NOT BUILT FOR SPEED. OH WELL, IT'S NOT THE TIME THAT MATTERS TO ME. I DO IT FOR THE UNWAVERING CHALLENGE AND DISCIPLINE IT TAKES TO FINISH. I SUPPOSE THIS IS MY MIDLIFE CRISIS INDULGENCE! I AM THE NIXA ARTS COUNCIL PRESIDENT AND THE REGIONAL ARTS COUNCIL LIASON FOR OUR REGION. I HAVE A WORKING STUDIO - BROY ART STUDIO. MY ART GOALS FOR 2009 : TO BE A SUCCESSFUL ARTIST -TO GET MY WORK IN GALLERIES AND TO HAVE HIGH QUALITY GICLEE' PRINTS AVAILABLE. I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN SELECTED AMONG VERY TALENTED ARTIST'S TO PAINT SOME PRESTIGIOUS PORTRAITS.
