I originally come from Bergen, the second biggest city in Norway – but recently I moved to Berlin. You may remember me from a track called ‘The Greatest Hit’, which I recorded with the late DJ Erot in a tiny studio in Bergen. My first album was called ‘Anniemal’ and was released in 2005, featuring tracks like ‘Chewing Gum’, and ..Heartbeat... We had a great time, did 6 US tours and played shows all round the world. I wanted my next album to take the spirit of ‘Anniemal’ and take it on a step which is where I am now with my second album – ‘Don’t Stop’ –coming out on Island Records this Autumn. It’s taken me a while to put it together but I’m really pleased and I had some great help in doing so including Timo Kaukolampi and Richard X – who collaborated on my first album – and I also hooked up with amazing Xenomania, and did a duet with Mr Fredrik Saroea, who some of you might know from the excellent band Datarock. The album was produced by Brian Higgins who was great at understanding what I wanted, and has helped to shape ‘Don't Stop’. My first single from this album will be ‘I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me’ which is currently up on my myspace player and is out on 7th July. Watch out for some great ‘Girlfriend’ remixes from Timo, Richard X, Get Shakes, Section and FDZ - And there will be more !

Hello Annie ! First of all, thanks for the story about the creation of your new single ! Also I've seen the new website which is very good ! I love it ! I'm asking you this ... I've been a member of more than 10 forums (Roisin Murphy, Kylie, Dannii Minogue, Mirwais, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Charts In France - where your face is actually my avatar lol -) so I'd like to know if it could be possible to be a moderator ? I know the rules of a forum (about the privacy and the copyrights), I've done one forum in the past too ... Also I'll be working next year studying for being a "web designer" .. I'm "Paris By Night" on the forum.

Marie Cherie is like, you know, a master piece ! It's in the same style to the introduction of Come Together, which is a perfect pop song. The 2 others new songs of your myspace are ace too, I've heard them from the sampler ! Be sure that none of the other tracks will leak on the internet please ! ^^'
