“A sonic Apocalypse and a musically inferno! What the Brits accomplished on “The Reign Of Darkness” is an absolute masterpiece!”
PC ACTION Germany, Ralph Wollner
"If what you look for in your death metal is killer dynamics, massive production, sharp riffs and over the top vocals, Annotations Of An Autopsy is the band that will put all bands aside. Because this is truly one "reign" to rule them all!” LOUD! Magazine Portugal, Fernando Reis
“Annotations Of An Autopsy masters both heavy death metal with melodic themes, but also masters the discipline of blasting everything around them away with the same precision as if they where the razor-sharp edge on asword in the hands of King Arthur doing a butchering of heathens on one of his countless crusades. Annotations Of An Autopsy are also on a crusade, and an even more brutal one. Soon they will support their own idols – Suffocation – on an European tour. It can only go one way for this band, and thats: forward.”
METALIZED Magazine Denmark, Jakob Schultz
If your musical tastes lurk through the shadows of the death genre with some lights of grindcore, then II: The Reign Of Darkness is an album that will feed your soul. METALLIAN Magazine France
“AOAA is a great band with tons of potential who fuses elements of all kinds of Metal from extreme to classic. This new album really showcases the band song writing abilities as well as their talent. With this record they really have found their own niche and vibe. Look for AOAA to be an up and coming band that has the capabilities to rise to the top of extreme music with their catchy songs and aggressive and memorable style. It was awesome to mix this album and work with AOAA and I am very proud of the results.”
Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL)
“They are one of the pioneers of modern brutal death! Definitely one of the death metal highlights in 2010! AOAA run over just everything and with only one EP and full-length album, they prove to be one of the hottest bands there is and are already on the way to catch up with legends such as Cannibal Corpse and Nile!”
Anzo Sadoni, METAL HAMMER Magazine Germany
"They sound fresh, they sound wild and they play their instruments like maniacs! ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY manage to combine old school death metal with most brutal tech-deathcore. Lately, nothing else has ever sounded that exciting! “The Reign Of Darkness” has got the potential to bring finally something new to the death scene.”
Patrick Schmidt, ROCK HARD Magazine Germany
"Nice and violent the way death metal is supposed to be! Heavy slammin' hooks, brutal fuckin' vocals (not just chewing on the same syllable), string section adds some nice dark harmonies. Very nice use of clean sections with ambient whispers mixed in as well. Well done gentleman!" Derek / Suffocation
