About Another Statistic (R.I.P.)

Another Statistic formed in the fall of 2004, Bryce(lead singer/guitarist) met Elaine(vocals/drummer) in Germany. Both had been in bands before and discussed the possibility of forming a group when they returned back to the States. Elaine moved from Chicago to Provo to attend college, and a few months after she arrived Bryce and Elaine had put together some songs in her basement. They soon realized that the music they were writing would need a bassist. Chris Bennett and Bryce were long time friends. After the first practice, Elaine and Bryce knew he’d be a perfect fit for the music they were writing. Another Statistic are all self taught musicians which they believe helps them in the originality of the music they write. They have been influenced by a number of bands including Radiohead, Built to Spill, Pinback, The Mercury Program and many, many, others not listed. They played for three and a half years. They had a good run of it. Then the band gave up the ghost. Rest in peace.
