London based AntiProduct is a band consisting of five people (three boys, two girls), born in four different countries on three different continents, that cannot boast of sounding or being like any other band ever!
Combining elements of punk, arena rock, metal, and hyperbolic radio friendly pop played with a nihilistic contempt for everything safe and average, AntiProduct is becoming one of the most talked about bands in the rock ‘n’ roll underground.
AntiProduct was recently featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno performing their song “Bungee Jumping People Die,” with segments on Kat Von D’s LA Ink already filmed. AntiProduct has been introduced to US audiences by none other than legendary taster maker Rodney Bingenheimer through his radio show on KROQ.
Having just finished their third LP (PLEASE TAKE YOUR CASH) with acclaimed producer Sylvia Massy (Johnny Cash, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, System of a Down, Tool), AntiProduct look forward to spreading their warped sense of fun and anti-disestablishmentarianism (“The most fun band in the world of hard Rock,” raves England’s The Sun) further into the psyche of the rock ‘n’ roll world.
In explaining their reputation for aberrant public behaviour and shameless manipulation of all things media as “ridiculing the same system you exploit,”
AntiProduct has blocked London rush hour traffic by getting naked on top of a van driving through the streets; been bathed in urine while wearing raw, festering meat as part of a fake TV game show for a Kerrang! Halloween feature (it was the biggest selling issue in Kerrang!’s history); been sick on England’s most hated celebrity radio DJ/mogul, Chris Evans; at a photo shoot for fashion trendsetter, The Face, eaten live worms to the delight and disgust of the fashionistas. The Guinness Book of World Records considers their single, “The Better Than This Maxi-Single Box Set”, the longest single in history, clocking in at a weighty 55 minutes!
Our first issue contains exclusive interviews with KENOTIA, a US pop rock band, LOLA POPS, a UK burlesque performer and ZARA KHALIQUE, a UK designer and artist. ALSO: poetry, doodles, music, links and our very own LIMITED EDITION jewellery range.
