After taking time off from the entertainment industry to finish school, the multi-talented and beautiful Antonella Barba is back and poised for a successful future.
Antonella was first seen on television in January 2007 during the 6th season of FOX’s smash hit, American Idol. With her smooth voice and gorgeous looks, Barba took center stage, taking advantage of the publicity surrounding her, and making it all the way to the Top 16 of the famed music competition series.
Barba is currently in the studio working with acclaimed producer, Bernard Edwards, Jr., aka Focus, with the hopes of releasing her first major single in 2009. Focus is a producer for Interscope/Aftermath and is also the CEO of aFAM Records.
In addition to her music, Antonella is also pursuing acting, hosting, and commercial modeling, and has a reality show in development based upon her current endeavors.
Upon her exit from American Idol, Barba has made numerous television appearances; including The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, Access Hollywood, and TV Guide’s Idol Stars: Where are they Now?
Antonella’s talents have allowed her to perform at interesting locations and events around the world. Barba most recently sang the National Anthem at the Wired Safety Summit in Washington, DC. Growing up, the first soprano traveled to London, England to perform at the International Children’s Choir Festival.
In March of 2008, Antonella became the spokesperson for ElectionMall’s Voter Space. On election night, she hosted ElectionMall’s Non-Partisan Young Voters Party just blocks away from the White House in Washington, DC.
Antonella graduated from The Catholic University of America with a BS in Architecture in May of 2008. She resides in both New York and Los Angeles and was raised in Point Pleasant, NJ. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, violin, piano, and drawing.
With loads of talent, beauty, and intelligence, 2009 should be an exciting time for the strong willed Barba.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
