Je bent een rund als je met vuurwerk stunt, maar daar lijken Anton, Jeroen, Martijn en Efraïm niet mee te zitten. Bij levensgevaarlijke (en compleet onspeelbare) grooves slaat dan ook geheid de vlam in de pan. Ai! Gaat daar iets mis? Laat maar, het is al lichtjaren achter ons en we hebben al onze zintuigen nodig om bij te blijven…… The Ploctones staan garant voor een kokend concert, riemen vast dus.

Anton Goudsmit(guitar)is a much sought after player who does amazing things with whatever music he is presented with or writes. On stage he makes u wonder where the fire escape is.....
In 2001 Anton formed the Ploctones to perform a series of his compositions commissioned by Dutch NPS Radio.
In 2004 former VPRO radio presenter René de Rooij organised a live cd recording at the Jazz op het Dak festival, an event directed by him and featured on VPRO television.
Under De Rooij's management the Ploctones has emerged as a very creative and innovative group that is capable of combining grooves and improvisation. The highly inflammable drumming of Martijn Vink, the solid and virtuoso bassplaying of Jeroen Vierdag and the intelligent approach of Efraïm Trujillo on sax, upgrade Anton's music and give this band it's unique sound.

Vrijdag 20 november speelt Firetime weer, in De Unie te Rotterdam, maarrrrr, veel nieuwe nummers. Ze zijn weer een nieuw pad ingeslagen, kom om te zien en horen waar dat pad toe leidt....
