Born in France in 1975. Antony Dupont lived up to the age of 7 years in Australia ( Brisbane.Qld ).
Antony Dupont is a techno dj above all. Since 1997 he has had the luck to practice " sides " of big names of the French and International electronic scene as John Thomas, Tonio, Oxia, J&G aka Sub Space, Chaotik Ramses, Eric Borgo, Gallen, Al Ferox, Woody Mc Bride, Roussia, Crystal Distortion, Alex K.....
It’s in October 1996 that everything starts for Antony Dupont.
He works in a huge french international tire factory starting with an “M” between dust, smoke and vapor...
A job mate (Alix) gives him a short listen to a tape with a mix of Laurent Garnier on it. This same friend asks Antony if he wants to come with him to see “that Laurent” at the “Rex Club” in Paris.Antony says “Yes”...
That blew up his mind ! Even if he had a twisted ankle before the party, he danced all night.
Starting from the next day he “ran” the best way he could (cold blue swelled ankle) to buy the “ LABORATOIRE MIX”.
November 96, he buys his first SL1200 Turntable and few records at “Techno Import” in Paris.
1997, he starts playing in local pubs, bars and clubs in Troyes under the name of Dj Tony.
That nickname was too common for him and he dicided to take his actual name.
He first started searching for the same records that his “mentor” played as well but finally played his own style, telling his own “stories”. He likes the progressive sets, those who "bewitch" you, make you burst of enjoyment and make you raise the quite standing hairs.
1998, he starts playing sides of big names or professional underground djs as John Thomas, Alex K, Ilana, Goodvibes...Then founded “Hopis Tribe” an association who promoted electronic music with Jabba 2.3 (another local Dj). Plays and manages on a local radio (Radio Campus Troyes) a live show called “Bass Pression”.
1999, he plays warm up in the first electronic music festival of Troyes called “ASSOCIATIONS” sides of Tonio & Eric Borgo. (1500 people). Starts producing his own music.
2000, Implementation of a big sound system on Troyes’s market place for French Music Day (June 21st) almost 600 people.
2001, he plays the last part of Troyes’s 2nd electronic music festival “ASSOCIATIONS 2” just after John Thomas. Are also invited at this event: Oxia, Roussia, Gallen, Steve o steen.
His mix is a real succes and at that moment he decided that he will never stop his passion. (1700 people).
In 2002 he leaves the association and get concentrated on producing.
From 2003 to 2007, he plays in local clubs and bars and also in the electronic music festival in Troyes which has changed his name to “SYNERGIE” sides of: Woody McBride, Crystal Distortion, Al Ferox...He creates “Update” parties and then met with Subspace (Mirage, Axis).He meets Woody McBride in a local club called “La Cave”.
In 2008 he plays at Tresor Berlin after a live of Subspace. He starts receiving good feedbacks on his production including Laurent Garnier.In November he’s in Dave Clarke’s Top Ten Techno with his track “Angoisses”
In 2009 he gets a lot of support from Dave Clarke who plays the most of his tracks on gigs ,on Whitenoise radio show and plays a dj set of Antony on that show to. He’s invited to “Dave Clarke Presents” at Melkweg in Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Dance Event playing sides of Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, The Hacker, Joris Voorn, Bas Mooy, Estroe.
With good feedbacks from Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier and more recently Dj Bone, Antony feels quite motivated for “the future” and wishes to integrate all this positive energy in his productions and sets.

Depuis 1997 il a eut la chance de s'exercer "aux côtés" de grands noms de la scene électronique française voir internationale comme John Thomas, Tonio, Oxia, J&G aka Sub Space, Chaotik Ramses, Eric Borgo, Gallen,Al Ferox, Woody Mc Bride, Roussia, Crystal Distortion, Alex K.....
C’est en octobre 1996 que tout commence pour Antony.
Il travaille dans une immense usine de pneumatiques française internationale qui commence par un « M » entre poussière, fumée et vapeur.
Un collègue de travail (Alix) lui fait écouter une cassette d’un mixe de Laurent Garnier puis lui propose de venir avec lui au REX CLUB pour voir ce « Laurent ». Antony dit « oui »…
Là c’est la claque ! Malgré sa cheville foulée Antony va danser toute la nuit. Dès le lendemain il cours tant bien que mal (cheville foulée refroidie et très enflée) à la FNAC de Troyes pour acquérir le « LABORATOIRE MIX ».
En novembre 96 il achète sa première platine SL1200 puis quelques disques chez « Techno Import ».
En 1997 il commence à jouer dans des soirées locales sur Troyes dans divers bars de nuit ou discothèques sous le nom de Dj Tony. Ce pseudo étant trop commun il décide de l’abandonner pour prendre son nom actuel.
En premier lieu il veut les mêmes disques que son « mentor » mais fini par vouloir jouer « son propre son » avec sa propre patte pour essayer de raconter aux gens « ses propres histoires ». Il aime les sets progressifs, ceux qui vous envoûtent, qui vous font éclater de joie et vous font dresser les poils tout debout.
En 1998 il fait ses premières soirées auprès de Dj’s pros tels que John Thomas, Alex K…puis vient a fonder « Hopis Tribe » avec Jabba 2.3. Une association qui promouvoie la musique électronique. Anime une émission de Radio locale « Bass Pression » sur Radio Campus.
En 1999 il joue en warm up dans le premier festival de musique électronique de Troyes « Associations » auprès de Tonio et Eric Borgo. (1500 personnes). Commence la production.
En 2000 installation d’un gros système son et lights sur la place des halles de Troyes à l’occasion de la fête de la musique. Environ 600 personnes.
En 2001 il joue en dernière partie du deuxième festival de musique électronique de Troyes après John Thomas. Sont aussi présents à ce festival : Oxia, Roussia, Gallen,Steve o steen.
Son mixe est un succès et il décide à ce moment qu’il n’arrêterai jamais sa passion. (1700 personnes)
En 2002 il quitte l’association et se concentre sur la production.
De 2003 à 2007 il joue dans de petits clubs et bars locaux ainsi qu’au festival de musiques électroniques de Troyes qui à changé de nom (Synergie) auprès de Woody McBride, Crystal Distorsion, Al Ferox. Il crée les soirées « Update » et rencontre à cette occasion Subspace (Mirage, Axis). Rencontre avec Woody McBride à « La Cave ».Premières sorties digitales.
En 2008, il joue au club Tresor de Berlin après un live de Subspace. Il commence à recevoir de bons feedbacks don ceux de Laurent Garnier. En Novembre il est dans le Top Ten techno de Dave Clarke avec son track Angoisses.
En 2009 il reçoit beaucoup de soutient de la part de Dave Clarke qui joue la plupart de ses morceaux en soirées, diffuse plusieurs de ses tracks ainsi qu’ un mixe d’Antony dans son émission White Noise et l’invite à sa soirée « Dave Clarke Presents » auprès de Laurent Garnier, The Hacker, Joris Voorn, Bas Mooy, Estroe et de Dave lui-même au Melkweg d’Amsterdam lors de l’Amsterdam dance event.
Avec de bons feedbacks de Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier et récemment de Dj Bone, Antony est très motivé pour « l’avenir » et souhaite intégrer toute cette « énergie positive » dans ses nouvelles productions et ses sets.
