Music:
NoiseXpop: a continuous game of contradiction between lyrics and music, energy and emotion. A total clash of man and woman, ego and alter ego, body and mind, fixed forever in a mariage à trois.
The music of AnumberOne shares its DNA with bands like Pixies, Sonic Youth, Von Bondies and White Stripes, but ultimately traces its roots back to old school Bowie, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop.

'A continuous game of contradiction between lyrics and music, energy and
emotion.'
Thus this trio from Tilburg describes their 'noisexpop' on Not Cheating You,
a strikingly powerful and very tasty sounding statement about the eternal
struggle between man and woman, ego and alter ego, body and mind.
Singer/bassist Eileen Beneken regularly screams it out and also the cover
Who the Fuck from PJ Harvey suits her excellently. The playing and the voices
of drummer Kees Swanenberg and gitarist Antoine Kroes (veteran from MAM and
The Wrong) create a tight trinity which, regarding the wonderful album cover
photos, is fixed forever in a mariage à trois. AnumberOne has the
sweetness and horniness as well as the sleeziness which makes live so
special and translates that to the kind of rock song one doesn't hear that
often anymore. My advice: commit adultery, buy AnumberOne because nobody
gets cheated here. Willem Jongeneelen
I have been busy on tour with Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band and haven't had a chance to tell you about my new record! It's called "Bad Little Kitty" and it came out back in July. There are a few tracks to sample on my MySpace but you can also check it out on iTunes or on my own website, www. TaylorHollingsworth. com. Thank you for continuing to be a friend and I hope you like the new collection of songs.
