ANY TROUBLE have reformed for an album with the resurgent STIFF RECORDS, (now owned by ZTT), with a release date of SEPTEMBER 10th 2007.
The renewed interest in the Stiff name, and their re-signing of one of the most credible acts on the roster, is expected to excite much interest from fans and media alike.
A brand-new single will be released on Stiff on 17th September, one week after the album. Entitled ‘ That Sound’, it is accompanied by a promo clip shot at Any Trouble’s recent comeback concert by a world-famous video director languishing under the pseudonym of BIF RYDBERG. Suffice to says that he hits the Trouble spot...One More Time.
Entitled ‘LIFE IN REVERSE’, it was recorded with original producer JOHN WOOD (Nick Drake, Fairport Convention, Squeeze), who also helmed the first Any Trouble album (‘Where Are All The Nice Girls?’), which of course was released on Stiff. The new album contains 13 brand-new Clive Gregson songs, including ‘The Man I Used To Be’, ‘What Do I Have To Do?’ and ‘Reverse’, and was recorded at ICC Studios in Eastbourne.
We are also planning some UK Live dates after the album release, probably in the 2nd/3rd week of October. These are still being discussed, so watch this space for updates.
