On Friday 7th November, at Club 85, Hitchin, Musikal Sin Promotions will be holding a fundraiser for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation (S.O.P.H.I.E - Stamp Out Prejudice Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere). You can check out their myspace here: http://www.myspace.com/inmemoryofsophie Sophie Lancaster, from Bacup, Lancashire, was just 20 years old when she died on August 24th 2007, as a result of her injuries caused by an attack on her and her boyfriend Rob, by a gangs of youths who attacked them because of the way Sophie and Rob were dressed, in alternative fashion. The foundation was set-up following their trial, to help raise awareness of the prejudice and violence faced by people in alternative sub-cultures. Proceeds from the gig will go towards the Foundation. Bands now confirmed!
