Numerous ingredients form the recipe of "Metal" that APART FROM FEAR cooks up just for you.
Blistering guitars blend in and out of reality with a hint of insanity.
Drumming that would summon most any foul beast from the depths of all the dark, scary places.
Vocals that not only temp to break the barrier of the "brown" note mixed with high screams that make you wonder if they are really human.
Bass lines that you feel deep inside your chest. Enough that your heart is unsure if it is pumping or if it's just the music.
In short, we are a Metal band with multiple influences and we bring you our masterpieces served on a platter loud and full of flavor. We hope to bring you enough variety and plenty of choices for you to enjoy!
Are we Metalcore? nah, not really.
Are we Hardcore? not entirely.
Are we what you parents would listen to? definately not. but if they do, bring them to a show and call it a family outing.
We are Metal. pure and simple. If you can think of a genre please let us know ... either way we will continue to make metal until we get old and our hearing fades ... then we will turn it up to 11 and play some more!!!

Apart From Fear, The Metal Machine. We are simply a metal band with our roots deep in the South. We love our fans, though it is still hard to imagine the thought of fans. We love making metal and want to thank everybody who has supported us through everything. We've played under many band names and with many different members until finally all the right musicians clicked and formed a brotherhood in AFF. Thank you for your support guys.
