Welcome to the A Primitive Evolution myspace. This band was formed in the fall of 2007 by Brett Carruthers, Stu Dead, Stephany Seki and Dim. We all come from different streams to make a raging river! haha. But, before you read on, this project is very different from all of our past works.
Stephany and Brett are from the Toronto Industrial Rock band LYE Stu Dead is a Toronto artist who owns Playdead Cult and Dim is a maniac who operates the Darkside Store he was also in the Toronto band Sifter.

Message from Brett:
I'm happy to annouce that after almost a year of jamming and putting all of our ideas together we just finished writing a thirteen track album, which is insane! We're going to start recording the album in the month of August and we've decided to produce this record ourselves and with the help of our friend Matthew Von Wagner. We'll be recording at the Playdead Mansion, Rainbow Trout Studios (Matthew's Studio) and Desolation Studios. (that's my studio where I recorded all the Lye albums and some of The Birthday Massacre's Violet LP) No release dates yet, but lets put a generally ideas that the album will be out in the fall sometime...
